The Topo Tee is the first piece in the Mondohiking shop. It’s a heavyweight cotton T-shirt with a subtle screen-printed topographic line across the chest - based on the actual contour map of a trail we’ve walked.
It’s not a souvenir of the trail. It’s the shirt you wear home from the trail, after the boots come off.

What we’re aiming for
Most “outdoor brand” merch is either logo-loud or technically over-engineered. Neither suits an ordinary day off the mountain. The Topo Tee is built around three rules:
- Heavy enough to keep its shape after fifty washes. No 130 gsm fashion-tees that warp in the dryer.
- Subtle from across a room, deliberate up close. The topo print is low-contrast against the fabric - most people won’t notice it; the people who do will know exactly what it is.
- No tribal markers. No “outdoor lifestyle” mountain logos. No oversized brand wordmarks on the chest.
Production
Printed on demand by Printful using water-based inks on OEKO-TEX certified organic combed cotton. The fabric is sourced from mills with verified labour practices; the print is done in either Latvia (EU orders) or North Carolina (US orders) depending on your address.
There is no warehouse holding hundreds of shirts. Each one is made when ordered, which is why shipping takes 5-10 days rather than 2.
Why it isn’t live yet
We’re finalising the topographic-line artwork (resolution test on heavyweight cotton tends to flatten thin lines), and the price-test sample is still in transit from Printful. Once we’ve worn it through a wash cycle and re-checked the print contrast, the Buy button goes on.
